Bring FLYTE to your town.

Your bar. Your town. Our brand, playbook & support.

We created FLYTE because we wanted to build the kind of neighbourhood bar we'd want to visit ourselves. Great drinks. Brilliant coffee. Warm hospitality. Local personality.

Now we're looking for a small number of ambitious people to bring FLYTE to new towns across the UK.

The FLYTE Story

We tested it. We learned. We refined it.

FLYTE began in Henley-on-Thames before expanding into Cirencester.

Opening two very different locations gave us the opportunity to test different venue sizes, staffing structures, trading patterns and customer behaviours.

Cirencester helped us refine the model further: a smaller neighbourhood venue capable of combining daytime coffee with evening drinks while operating with a deliberately lean structure.

We took what worked, learned from what didn't, and turned those lessons into the FLYTE operating model. Now we're ready to take FLYTE into new towns.

What Is FLYTE?

A neighbourhood bar. Done differently.

Exceptional Drinks

Cocktails, wines, beers and our signature flights of flavour.

Great Coffee

Selected locations can trade through the day, creating another reason for the neighbourhood to visit.

Local at Heart

Every FLYTE should feel like it belongs to its town, not like it has simply been dropped into it.

Lean by Design

A deliberately simple operating model designed around smaller venues, intelligent processes and focused menus.

Local by Design

Your FLYTE should belong to your town.

We don't want every FLYTE to feel identical. The brand should be recognisable. The experience should be unmistakably FLYTE. But each bar should have a genuine connection to the place it calls home.

Where commercially practical, we encourage our bars to work with independent suppliers, producers and makers from approximately 20 miles around their venue.

And rather than building complicated commercial kitchens into every FLYTE, we can work alongside brilliant local food businesses — introducing our customers to them and giving them another platform in their community.

Supporting local isn't a campaign. It's part of the model.

Why FLYTE

10 reasons to join FLYTE.

01

A Concept That's Been Tested

We've opened FLYTE in two different towns and formats, using those experiences to refine a smaller, leaner and more repeatable operating model.

02

A Lower-Cost Way Into Hospitality

FLYTE is designed around smaller existing hospitality spaces and intelligent conversions, helping avoid the huge fit-out requirements associated with many hospitality concepts.

03

Built to Operate Lean

Clever bar design, focused menus and clear operating processes help keep the FLYTE model deliberately simple.

04

More Than Evening Drinks

Cocktails, wine and flights sit at the heart of FLYTE, while suitable locations can add coffee and daytime trade, creating more opportunity from the same space.

05

No Commercial Kitchen Required

Rather than adding unnecessary kitchen complexity, FLYTE can collaborate with brilliant local food businesses and promote them to our customers.

06

Your FLYTE Should Belong to Your Town

We encourage franchisees to work with independent suppliers, producers and makers from approximately 20 miles around their venue, wherever commercially practical.

07

A Brand People Remember

From our flights of flavour and distinctive drinks to Home for the Curious, FLYTE is designed to feel different from both traditional pubs and formulaic cocktail chains.

08

The Playbook Is Already Written

We've turned what we've learned from opening and operating FLYTE into the FLYTE Playbook.

You're buying into a method, not figuring it out as you go.

09

Support From People Who Actually Run FLYTE

This isn't a franchise created in a boardroom. You'll be supported by the people who built and operate FLYTE and understand the realities of running the business.

10

A Changing Environment for Hospitality

Recent changes to the UK business-rates environment are intended to provide greater support to qualifying retail, hospitality and leisure businesses.

† Eligibility and the scope of any business-rates support depends on individual circumstances, property and local authority. We make no guarantee that any specific FLYTE will qualify, and this is not tax or financial advice.

The Opportunity

A smaller bar. A smarter model.

FLYTE has been designed to make opening a brilliant neighbourhood hospitality business more achievable.

Who Should Open a FLYTE?

Who should open a FLYTE?

We don't necessarily need career publicans. We're looking for people who:

  • genuinely care about hospitality
  • understand their local community
  • want to build a business they can be proud of
  • are comfortable being hands-on
  • care deeply about standards and customer experience
  • have sufficient capital to properly launch the business
  • want the independence of running their own business with the support of an established concept

FLYTE isn't designed to be a passive investment.
We're looking for people who want to build something.

The FLYTE Playbook

We've made the mistakes so you don't have to.

Opening a hospitality business involves hundreds of decisions. We've already made many of them.

The FLYTE Playbook brings together the method we've developed from opening and operating our own bars.

It's the framework behind the brand — and something we only share with franchise partners as they progress through the FLYTE journey.
